Media Consent

Family Bank Ltd and its Subsidiaries herein “FBL”, “Bank” would like to seek consent for the use your image’s (photographs), video recordings and/or audio for possible internal and external promotion of the Bank and its activities.

The photography/video recordings/audio could be used in print and digital media formats, including (but not restricted to) print publications, newsletters, websites, annual reports, e-marketing, poster banners, advertising, film, the Bank’s official social media platforms, teaching and research purposes, either in an edited or non-edited format. The data will be kept for as long as may be reasonably necessary to satisfy the purpose for which it was collected for.. Your image/s will only be used for the purposes of promoting the Bank in publicity, and in communication of, its products and services only, and not for any other purpose.

The use of the image and name may also include its distribution to third parties, such as media outlets or partners of the Bank. We will not pass the details recorded on this form on to any other organization, unless legally obligated, without your explicit consent. The contact information which you provide will only be used to reach you about the material you have given the consent for.

By signing this consent form, you confirm that Family Bank Limited has copyright of your image/s, and you will not receive any payment for any photograph(s), video and/or audio (including any edited versions).

Family Bank Ltd being a Registered Data Controller and Processor takes your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to document your consent options for photography, video and/or audio. The personal data collected as detailed will therefore be processed in line with the relevant Data Protection, Policies, Laws and Regulations in the way(s) and purpose(s) detailed in this Media Consent Form. Limited data may need to be retained to ensure your non-existence is recorded, in the event that you opt-out. We will not be passing your personal data on to a third party. Consent is not a precondition of service, and you can refuse consent without detriment.

You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting dataprotection@familybank.co.ke. Please note that while the Bank will be able to remove photographs on request from the website, reasonable effort will be taken to prevent them being used in future digital and offline publications, but they may continue to appear in publications already in circulation. Where the Bank is unable to delete images or videos due to previous publications, the Bank will notify you of this. However, we will not use your content for any further publications, video or audio.
