MoneyGram
MoneyGram money transfer service allows you to send and receive money worldwide. This service is available to both Family Bank account holders and non-account holders. MoneyGram remittances can be received and sent from all Family Bank branches.
Send Money
To send money you will need to:
- Visit a Family Bank branch near to you
- Carry your national identity card/valid passport and the recipient’s full name and their location as per their ID and.
- Complete the MoneyGram Send Money form.
- Give the Teller the completed form with the applicable funds (including transaction fee)
- Review and sign the receipt
- The teller will process the transaction and give you a receipt and tracking number (MTCN) for the transaction
- Save the receipt and share the 8-digit reference number with your recipient for pick-up
Receive Money
To receive money:
- Request the 8-digit reference number from the person sending you money
- Visit any Family Bank branch near to you with your national identity card/a valid passport
- Complete the MoneyGram Receive Money form
- Review and sign the receipt
- The teller will give you the money and a copy of the receipt
